Some of you have asked me to print some of the emails I receive about the newsletter. Here are a few I particularly like:

I am currently at my home in India where I have been since just before Christmas. Living here in my house by the sea is a sharp contrast to my time in Nantucket, though both have their joys. I have been teaching English to the local school kids here for the past few weeks, boy are they great to teach, attentive, enthusiastic and eager to learn….Shortly I am off to bangkok to stay with friends and then of to Kuala Lumpur for no better reason than I have never been there and it’s close by. I will be returning to chilly, damp England on the 25th March for easter with my children and returning to nantucket for a couple of weeks shortly after that. No doubt the gray lady will be living up to her name when I get there!

It’s great to be able to keep in touch with nantucket news through your pages. I also find out news relevant to me personally, not the least of which is finding out through you who my new neighbours will be at 14 Centre.

Look forward to seing you soon and summer will behere before we know it!

All good wishes,
Paul Copson, Thomas Henry Gallery

Got to Ack in 1978, remember the Camera Shop and The Road House - Stormin’Norman and Suzie, NRBQ, GREAT mussels and music! Left Ack in 2002 and miss it so much. Your website and newsletter are bittersweet. I love it, but it hurts because I miss it so much. Love seeing all the old friends, though. Today is my daughter Megan’s 24th birthday. She was an emergency C-section delivered by Voodoo and a new guy - Tim Lepore. It was snowing and I was the only person in
the NCH maternity ward for 6 days! Life in Atlanta, GA is like living on another planet. Good and bad, but no ocean. Keep the pix and news coming.
Thanks, Lynne DeWald
