8 Chairs on Nantucket

Island artists MJ Levy Dickson, Julie Gifford, Lou Guarnaccia, Randy Hudson, David Lazarus, Robert McKee, Julija Mostykanova, and Gail Sharretts celebrate the Nantucket Lighthouse School through their art through an idea of Cary Hazlegrove’s. Each has painted a chair to be raffled off on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Nantucket Lighthouse School Hoe Down. Raffle tickets are $10 at Nantucket Lighthouse School, Diana Kim England Goldsmiths, Annye’s Whole Foods, Pinwheels, and Nantucket Bookworks. All 8 chairs are on display in the window at 51 Main Street, and will move to South Wharf Gallery on India Street from June 27th until the 2nd of July.
