Festival of Wreaths Preview Party

Now a Nantucket tradition, the annual Festival of Wreaths and its Preview Party mark the start of Nantucket’s winter holiday season. The event showcases the remarkable talent of local artists, artisans, schoolchildren, merchants, and nonprofits that decorate and donate the wreaths, which are displayed as part of the silent auction.

6th Annual Cold Turkey Plunge. Hundreds of swimmers plunge into the harbor as a fundraiser for the Nantucket Atheneum. Pick up pledge forms at the library or a variety of locations. Put together a team made up of family members, friends or coworkers.

Make and Take Home your own Wreath

Wreath Class. Liz Morcone will guide you through the making of a holiday wreath using a wire frame and evergreen cuttings. Once the wreath is complete, you can decorate it using supplies provided or you can bring you own. $45.00 per person
